Post Sale Automation

The post sale automation is beneficial for you to follow-up with your client automatically once a sale has occurred. You can use these for welcome emails as well as sending invoices -- just to name a few. But for this training we are going to show how to do some basics that you will find valuable. 

  1. Go to “Automation”  ⟶ “Workflows”  ⟶ “Create New Workflow”  ⟶ “Start from Scratch”.
  2. Title your workflow “Post Sale Automation”
  3. Create your Trigger
    1. Click “Add New Workflow Trigger”
    2. Input the fields:
      1. Workflow Trigger Name - Post Sale Automation
      2. Workflow Trigger Type - CRM
      3. Choose a Workflow Trigger - Order Form Submission ⟶ In funnel ⟶ Sales Page.
      4. Click Save.
  4. Add a Webhook (if desired for docusign/hellosign).
    1. Add an Action ⟶ Conditions and Workflows ⟶ Webhook.
    2. Input the webhook from the zap created linking to your docusign/hellosign and build your zapier zap however you'd like.
      1. If you do not know how to create a zap for your signing software, you're reading too advanced of a helpdoc. Please reach out to support for more help.
    3. Click Save.
  5. Add a welcome email.
    1. Add an Action ⟶ Send Email.
    2. Input the fields:
      1. From Name - [your name]
      2. From Email - [your email]
      3. Subject - Welcome to [Business Name]
      4. Message - Hey {{contact.first_name}}, Welcome to the team! [...] Talk Soon, [your name]. (i.e., whatever you want it to say).
  6. Add Opportunity.
    1. Add an Action ⟶ CRM ⟶ Add/Update Opportunity
    2. Input the fields:
      1. In Pipeline - Sales Opp Pipeline
      2. Lead Value - [Value per month]
      3. Status - Won
  7. Save Workflow.
