Post Sale Automation
The post sale automation is beneficial for you to follow-up with your client automatically once a sale has occurred. You can use these for welcome emails as well as sending invoices -- just to name a few. But for this training we are going to show how to do some basics that you will find valuable.
- Go to “Automation” ⟶ “Workflows” ⟶ “Create New Workflow” ⟶ “Start from Scratch”.
- Title your workflow “Post Sale Automation”
- Create your Trigger
- Click “Add New Workflow Trigger”
- Input the fields:
- Workflow Trigger Name - Post Sale Automation
- Workflow Trigger Type - CRM
- Choose a Workflow Trigger - Order Form Submission ⟶ In funnel ⟶ Sales Page.
- Click Save.
- Add a Webhook (if desired for docusign/hellosign).
- Add an Action ⟶ Conditions and Workflows ⟶ Webhook.
- Input the webhook from the zap created linking to your docusign/hellosign and build your zapier zap however you'd like.
- If you do not know how to create a zap for your signing software, you're reading too advanced of a helpdoc. Please reach out to support for more help.
- Click Save.
- Add a welcome email.
- Add an Action ⟶ Send Email.
- Input the fields:
- From Name - [your name]
- From Email - [your email]
- Subject - Welcome to [Business Name]
- Message - Hey {{contact.first_name}}, Welcome to the team! [...] Talk Soon, [your name]. (i.e., whatever you want it to say).
- Add Opportunity.
- Add an Action ⟶ CRM ⟶ Add/Update Opportunity
- Input the fields:
- In Pipeline - Sales Opp Pipeline
- Lead Value - [Value per month]
- Status - Won
- Save Workflow.
