Google Integration for CAS Calendar

If you are wanting to integrate your calendar with your pre-exisiting calendar in order to block out appointments not booked through GHL, you can do this through a Google Integration. You will do this within your CAS sub-account.

  1. Go to "Settings" → "Integrations", and click "Connect" under the Google symbol.
    1. It will ask you permissions and which gmail account to link, choose the one in which you use for your daily schedule for your business.
    2. Once that is successfully integrated through google, you will need to connect it to a GHL calendar.
  2. Go to "Settings" → "Calendars", select/edit your "Sales Call" calendar (or whatever you renamed it to be).
  3. In the "(1) Team/Event Setup", locate "Link to Calendar", and select your integrated Google Calendar in the drop down menu.
  4. In "Sync Option, select the one you would prefer:
    1. One Way - All events from Google calendar will be shown as grey. It will not add whoever is invited in the Google event to HighLevel. But will still sync the Appointments from HL to the Google calendar and block the timeslot pulled from Google.
    2. Two Way - All events from google calendar will be colored and will talk to each other. HighLevel will find who is invited in the Google event, create a contact record for them, and fire off any triggers associated with the calendar.
    3. Smart - When an event is created in Google calendar but the contacts associated with the event were not found to be already existing in HighLevel as contacts, HighLevel will not add them as contacts but will block the time off in your HighLevel calendar (event color will be gray). Alternatively, when an event is created in Google calendar and the contacts associated with the event were found as existing contacts in HighLevel, HighLevel will color code the event and fire off any triggers associated with the calendar.
    4. Disable Trigger - All Google Calendar event contacts will be pulled into HighLevel as new contacts, but no triggers associated with the HighLevel calendar will fire.
  5. Click "Save"

Once this is complete, your GHL calendar and your Google Calendar are completely synced according to your selected preference.
