How to White Label Desktop App
If you have set up your GHL account, ran a test DR on yourself, prospected for clients, and now landed your first client. You may be wanting to gain a bit more credibility through branding your services with your own domain. By default, the GHL desktop app will be accesses through the URL app.gohighlevel.com, however, if you have the SaaS Pro subscription (we recommend it for multiple reasons), you can whitelabel the desktop app with your personal brand and logo. Complete the following steps, and you'll be quickly on your way!
- Updating Records into your DNS Manager (this could be GoDaddy, CloudFlare, etc.)
- Log into your DNS manager
- Locate all of your DNS records
- Select "Add Record" (this step may vary depending on the DNS Manager you are using)
- Complete the following fields for your new record:
- Type - CNAME
- Host - app
- Points To (or Target) - app.msgsndr.com
- (if applicable) TTL - 1 hour
- (if applicable) Proxy Status - DNS Only
- Click "Save"
- Update Whitelabel URL in GHL (in Agency View)
- Log into your GHL account
- Go to Settings → Company
- Locate "Whitelabel Domain" field
- Input the new URL for your Whitelabel GHL
- If followed exactly from the helpdoc, it should be app.[domain name]
- See below for our screenshot example (our domain is pyros.io)
- Click "Update Company"
At this point, go ahead and type in your new whitelabeled URL for GHL and it will resolve. If not, refresh your browser.
