Ghosting After the Appointment

Our snapshots are all focused on one thing: booking appointments for your clients. However, some niches may have a longer sales cycles than others (think gym subscriptions vs real estate). So, what happens when you book an appointment, the contact shows up for the phone call, meets in person, then begins to ghost your client? Are they lost or should they be a no-show?

Typically, our rule of thumb is that if they have their appointment, and end up not buying -- they are lost. If they arent won, then they are lost. However, if they have met a couple times before with your client and then all of a sudden ghost, you will need to evaluate what the typical process is for your niche. If the contact did not exactly tell them they were not interested, it may be beneficial to throw them into a second round of DR where you throw some value based conten their way to warm them up.

It all comes down to knowing YOUR niche for special cases, but our rule of them is: If they buy, its a win. If they didnt, its a loss.
