Intake Form With the Welcome Email
If you have just recently signed a client for your services, GHL will automatically send a welcome email to them. You may want to send your own intake form with personalized questions or information that will be beneficial for your records. Unfortunately, there is no way to customize the email that GHL automatically sends out to fit more of your needs. However, the following is an pretty easy workflow you can make to send out your own intake form to your clients on top of the welcome email sent by GHL. Follow the steps below, and youll be good to go!
What you'll want to do is set it up so that when you checkout a new user, a workflow triggers that sends them an email. So their automated welcome email into SaaS mode will send, but then your customized email will send with a link to their onboarding form/whatever else you want to put in there. That's what we always do with Kajabi access.
Say something like, "You'll receive two emails in the next minute. One is just from the system with your login credentials to the client portal, the other is all the onboarding information we need to launch your first campaign. Can you fill out that onboarding form for me please?"
